The SEAD Picnic is FREE! Just bring, an entree, salad or dessert (enough for 8) in a disposable and recyclable container–aluminium pans are recommended. No utensils needed. This is our first GREEN Picnic–all of the utensils, cups, paper products, and cleaning products are eco-friendly. Please recycle at the picnic!

1:00 pm to 5:00 pm “Pittsburgh-A City of Renaissance and Transformation” Exhibit featuring the photographs of the late Edward A. Frank (father to SEAD President Rob Frank). He was an award-winning Pittsburgh Press photographer whose work appeared everywhere from the cover of Life Magazine to Pravda (really!). His body of work documented more than 50 years of history, including all three Pittsburgh Renaissances. He was a three time winner of the prestigious “Golden Quill Award” for News Photography and was a contemporary and friend of Pittsburgh Courier photographer Teenie Harris.

Covid-19 Protocol
We will be asking picnickers to follow any health orders that might be in place at the time of the event and CDC Guidelines. We will have free masks and hand sanitizer. SEAD rented Fairgrounds Building #4 for shows and events, so there will be plenty of room for social distancing. Please feel free to bring a camping chair so you can have the best seat in the house for the shows.
